From the Editor—
Although I’ve been providing local news content through a variety of outlets since 1984, my work here with Saline Journal is new, and “officially” launches on Monday April 2, 2018. [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8]
Saline Journal fills what we believe is a void in coverage of the businesses and attractions where Saline Michigan is positioned at center. In addition to reporting, our aim is to provide additional perspective where it appears to be relevant.
A great deal of content is already available to readers on this site right now. Last month we posted to Saline Journal some of our own copyrighted material that you may have seen run previously by other publications (with permission that we gave to do so). Revisiting those articles is part of the broader Saline Journal experience should give you a feel for the unique classifications and indexing structure of this news magazine and what’s in it for you.
Stylistically, we want the first impression that anyone gets from Saline Journal to be as closely reminiscent as possible of a printed newspaper or city magazine, whether it’s being read on a laptop computer, smartphone, or tablet device. Wherever you take in our content — at home in your living room, in the break room at work, or over coffee downtown — Saline Journal is designed to extend that experience in a way that is personally “Saline.”
Whoever you are and however you are reading this: Welcome to Saline Journal.
