Yankee Air Museum posted the following statement to its Instagram Feed in response to newly released CDC guidelines on mask requirements viz COVID-19: “Yesterday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced new recommendations related to fully vaccinated individuals and face coverings.

Today, the Sate of Michigan announced their new recommendations which are concurrent with the CDC’s recommendations, that will go into effect on Saturday.

Please note, however, that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) mask mandate has not been lifted while at airports and other modes of public transportation.

As the Museum and Hangar are located on airport property, the Yankee Air Museum is subject to following this mandatory Federal guidance.

Masks are still to be worn by guests and our team members inside and outside of the Museum, at our Hangar, and inside of our historic aircraft during Air Adventures. Should the TSA alter their mandate, the Yankee Air Museum will communicate those changes immediately.

Thank you for your continued understanding and support of our Museum.
