Restaurants opened yesterday for inside dining, first time since mid-March closure due to COVID-19. Really rough, awkward experience. Palpable paranoia all around, odd approaches to customer traffic flow (in support of “social distancing” efforts). Wait staff looked positively miserable. Service was slow, food cold.

Off and on today, asked over a dozen people who’d gone out what it had been like for them. To the person, regardless of where they went: Much the same.
